Like so many great success stories, this one began in just that way, with two good friends knocking back a couple of cold ones… in the Rockies.

Adam Baker was one of those guys, and as he had done so many times before as a heady business man, he noticed a need that kept popping up for his old friends in the Vail Valley and many of his new friends, who were second homeowners and transplants to Vail… As soon as the first snowflake fell, EVERYBODY was always talking about needing to change over their summer tires to snow tires to keep their families and employees safe in the mountains through the winter.

From that moment, Adam knew he had to run the idea by his good buddy, Jeff Brausch, “Brauschie,” as everyone referred to him, because Brauschie was the real deal! Highline Sports & Entertainment, the epitome of big event experiences, was the brainchild of Jeff’s, and as a dynamic entrepreneur, he and his partners had grown it into a cornerstone of the Vail experience. From the …. To the …., this guy knew how to build a business.

Well, it didn’t take long for Brauschie and Adam to realize that the idea of SWITCH Mobile Tires was going to revolutionize the way the mountain families effortlessly made the transition from summer to winter and back again… every year. “We just need to go straight to them and SWITCH out their tires, whenever they want, wherever they are… let’s just make it super fast and really easy.” Thus, SWITCH Mobile Tires was born in 2019…

Sadly enough, Brauschie, who was an amazing dad, husband, friend, partner, and entrepreneur, passed away of cancer in 2021. But the business they launched just before Jeff left us is now another thriving cornerstone of the Vail Valley. It’s no surprise that even in his passing, he left a legacy for the people of Vail and for his wife, Kelli, and their three children, to carry on in the true Brausch spirit… always looking out for someone else.

Today, SWITCH has grown into a thriving business, serving the Vail Valley and expanding into mountain towns across Colorado and throughout the US.

The SWITCH service is unlike any other, with an extended Mercedes van that pulls up to your home or business to switch out your tires, using state-of-the-art equipment and the tires of your choice… all Formula One style with the inside of their vans looking like surgical suites. Then, the SWITCH team members role out with your tires on board to store until you need them put back on for the next season.

SWITCH is the height of fast, convenient, and easy service performed with the excellence the Vail Valley is known for.
